How do I book a Haramain train ticket?
Pick your stations and date, choose a departure and a class, enter each passenger's name exactly as it appears on the ID they will travel with, and pay. The ticket is issued immediately and appears in My bookings and in the app.
Is this an official ticket?
Yes. We book into Haramain High Speed Railway's own inventory and the ticket is issued by HHR. What you download is the same ticket and the same QR code you would get at the station counter.
When do I get my ticket?
Within seconds of payment clearing. There is no manual confirmation step and nothing to collect on the day. It also arrives by email and stays in the app offline.
What are the cancellation charges?
It depends on the fare and how close to departure you cancel. The exact charges are shown on each fare before you pay, and on your booking afterwards.
How much luggage can I bring?
One travel bag up to 25 kg at 55 × 35 × 65 cm, plus one handbag up to 7 kg. The same allowance applies in both classes. Excess baggage can be shipped separately for a fee through SPL.
Do children and infants need a ticket?
Children have their own fare and their own seat. Infants under two travel on an adult's lap without a seat. Set the numbers in the travellers menu before searching so the prices you see are the ones you pay.
How does seat selection work?
It opens once your ticket is issued and closes before departure. It is free, and you can change your choice as often as you like in that window, subject to availability.
Can I use the Hijri calendar?
Yes. Every date field shows both Hijri and Gregorian dates. Tickets and confirmations show both.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Mada, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and your RihlaGo wallet. Every price is in Saudi riyal and includes tax — no currency conversion at checkout.
Can I book for a large group?
Yes. Group booking is coming soon: hold seats without passenger names, collect the names at your own pace, then ticket the block in full or in parts.
